For over 290 years, Takemoto has been producing hexane-free sesame oil to guarantee optimum quality and authentic taste. Traditional extraction method, respectful of aromas and flavors, has remained unchanged since company was founded. Sesame seeds supply meets very strict standards, and only best origins in terms of organoleptic qualities and food safety are selected.
Each batch is inspected, analyzed and cleaned of all foreign matter. Sesame oil is extracted under pressure. This method takes time, but this is very important for oils process marketed under their flagship brand Maruhon. It guarantees produced oil nutritional qualities, aromas, flavors, color and texture preservation.
