Akamoku Algae Sauce
Ref : NISGOTO9
This sauce for salads, raw vegetables, cold meats, boiled vegetables, poke bowls...is made with akamoku seaweed from Umajima, an island located in the southwest of Honshu, Shimane Prefecture.
On this small island with a thriving fishing industry, Akamoku is landed in early summer.
sticky seaweed contains fucoidan (reputed to be an impressive nutritional supplement) and minerals in abundance.
Taking advantage of its non-addictive characteristics, our artisan Goto shoyu has created a refreshing Japanese-style dressing with soy sauce.
This seasoning softens seaweed stickiness, making it easier to eat. Palate is suave, slightly acidic, with vegetal (herbaceous) and iodized notes (reminiscent of oysters), even tertiary (notes of undergrowth) and meaty touch.
A delicious, umami, fresh sauce that goes perfectly with mixed salads, meat or fish carpaccios, pasta or cabbage salads, seaweed, shellfish or crab salads.
