      Tokubetsu Junmai, or pure special, is a special name reserved for high quality sakes, these traditional and indigenous rice wines that have become a strong symbol of Japanese national culture. Iwate No Jizake Tokubetsu Junmai is a carefully brewed pure rice saké. This special Junmai saké offers a soft and bodied taste. The rice is polished at 60% and brewed during the coldest season of the year, thus creating a harmonious blend of sweet and pure flavors.

      60% polishing eliminates impurities, and slow infusion during the coldest season leaves only pure umami flavor. It's a pure rice pure rice and deep and pleasant in the mouth. The aromas are fine and delicate, slightly milky, evoking the melon, the banana, the yellow plum, the Mirabelle, with small brioche and toasty accents.
