Ohgon no aji sauce can be used for a wide range of dishes, from grilled meats to ordinary side dishes, stir-fries and then, as the secret ingredient for curries, yakisoba and stir-fried rice.
"Ohgon no aji" (taste of gold) is a rich, fruity barbecue sauce for grilled meats much appreciated by specialized yakiniku restaurants. The power of the mixed fruits makes the meat even more flavorful.
This sauce can be used for marinating or dipping grilled meats. We recommend using 15-25% of this sauce, depending on the quantity of raw meat to be cooked.
This sauce can also be used for stir-fried vegetables and noodles.
In Japan, yakiniku is a popular family and festive dish, and this barbecue sauce is always welcome. Made with a variety of fruits such as apples, peaches and plums, this rich, slightly sweet sauce is a real delight with vegetables and beef, pork and chicken.
For those who like a little spiciness, this version is moderately spicy.
