Whole glutinous rice mochi 8 pieces

These rice mochi are made from whole glutinous rice which germ has not been polished, thus preserving a large amount of nutrients. Raw material, glutinous rice from mochi hikari variety, is cultivated in Nagano prefecture, using half the amount of fertilizer and pesticide than traditional agriculture.
This very tasty mochi is best cooked on the barbecue, on a plancha or in a frying pan, gently, until golden brown. As for seasoning, you can add a very good Tamari soy sauce or a surprising rice shoyu junmai!
