Tea leaves are harvested exclusively in Dôsenbô, Minamisanjo, Souraku-gun, Kyoto Prefecture. This terroir is renowned among connoisseurs. Indeed, this tea is grown at altitude (400 to 500 meters) and without shade.
What's more, temperature difference between day and night is considerable, and the air is very pure. This tea is very elegant, dense, round and sweet, soft and fresh, with subtle, invigorating herbal notes.
When infused, this tea has a light yellow-green color. This tea can be served at the table or as an accompaniment to pastries. It's also perfect for entertaining guests.
Preparation: 10 cl water for 2 to 2.5 g tea Water temperature: 70°C to 80°C Infusion time: 1 to 1.5 minutes
