This Shōchū, made from barley grown in Usa, Oita Prefecture, is a rare grand cru, reserved for purists.

It has been matured in "KAME" clay pot (30 liters) for 15 years and has not been cut.
It is an authentic Genshu.
Only 390 bottles were released for sale and we were able to recover some of them.
This full-bodied Shōchū expresses a lot of sweetness, toffee fudge, toasted notes, vanilla, milk liqueur, hay, black sugar, cookie, tobacco...
The mouth is opulent, liquorice (zan), sugar molasses, toasted bread.
Our perfect pairings : An excellent shochu to taste at temperature or on ice, as a digestive or as an accompaniment to a chocolate dessert, rice pudding, French toast...
