Born from the encounter between French terroir and Japanese flavors, our yuzu cider is made in France, in Brittany.
Each bottle is the result of demanding expertise, respectful of raw materials and subtle balances. A unique, refreshing combination that invites discovery.
We recommend serving this cider at an ideal temperature of +8°C in a wide-based, narrow-necked glass to concentrate the flavors and release the best aromas. It is recommended to gently turn the cider bottle upside down before opening to homogenize the natural sediments.
Apple Cider is made by fermenting apple must with natural yeasts that convert the sugar into alcohol. The process releases carbon dioxide, giving the drink a delicate sparkle.
For our yuzu & apple cider, 4.97% natural yuzu juice from Japan is added once the fermentation process is complete.
Yuzu is undoubtedly Japan's most iconic citrus fruit, combining the aromas and flavors of green mandarin and citron. Its peel and juice are highly prized in cooking and baking.
The yuzu juice used comes from fruit grown in open fields in Ehime Prefecture, Japan, and harvested mainly in November and December. The aromas are powerful with notes of green mandarin, citron, and unripe lemon.
It is rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, and hesperidin, which have strong antioxidant properties.
