The bamboo "chasen" whisk is essential for making matcha tea. It allows the tea to be emulsified to give it an airy and frothy texture.
To make your matcha tea :
- put 2 to 4 spatulas of matcha tea in your bowl, i.e. 2 to 4 g (1 spatula = 1 g of matcha tea)
- then pour 70 to 100 ml of pure, not hard water, heated from 70 ° C to 80 ° C (depending on the quality of your matcha tea; for a very high quality tea, favor water at 70 ° C)
- beat your tea until the tea thickens and a generous and creamy foam forms.
